Salcombe Regatta & August Bank Holiday special offers

Salcombe’s event calendar wouldn’t be complete without the Salcombe Yacht Club Regatta. Returning to the town from 1st-6th August, the renowned event is now in its 115th year! With a mixture of maritime activities and races, the event is popular with sailors and boat enthusiasts alike. Races are scheduled for a variety of vessels and for sailors of all ages; the annual competition looks set to be fun for both spectators and competitors. It’s show time…

It’s nearly the end of July!  So it’s that time of year when we enjoy many annual festivals, regattas and events throughout beautiful South Devon.

Totnes & District Agricultural Show is this weekend on Sunday 25th July, and includes a performance from The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team, as well as many other exciting demonstrations, displays and competitions. From shearing to show jumping, there is plenty to see and do for all the family!

On Wednesday 28th July it is the Yealmpton Show, now in its 123rd year! Attractions include dog agility, pony club competitions and vintage machinery to name just a few.    Paying a visit to one of these shows will certainly provide an interesting and fun day out!
