A well equipped and comfortably furnished detached house overlooking the sailing town of Salcombe and surrounding countryside. The accommodation is divided over three levels and is ideally suited to either two families or couples looking for a good value holiday in a mostly residential (and therefore quieter) area of the town.
LOCATION Dell Court is a small development of houses in a quiet private drive overlooking the town. Salcombe's boutiques, restaurants, cafes and stunning estuary are a 10-15 minute downhill (steep in places) walk away.
VIEWS Pleasant views of the estuary towards Batson Creek from most rooms.
ENTRANCE From the sloping driveway the main entrance leads into a ground floor hallway with level access to the sitting room and kitchen, and stairs down to the lower ground floor level.
SITTING ROOM A very comfortably furnished sitting room with sofas and armchair, coffee table, TV (with High Definition Freesat) and DVD player. Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor.
KITCHEN A well equipped fitted kitchen with gas range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen leads into a DINING ROOM with large pine table, eight chairs and wood-burning stove. Sliding French doors lead out to a balcony with steps down to the garden.
BEDROOMS Four in total. On the first floor is the master bedroom with pine framed double bed, bedside units, wardrobe, TV with Freeview and lovely views. Also on this level is a twin room with two single beds. On the lower ground floor are two further bedrooms; a double with divan bed, fitted wardrobe, drawers and French doors out to the back garden and terrace, and a bunk bedded room for children only. N.B. All duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided. Tenants will require towels and tea towels.
BATH/SHOWER ROOMS Large bathroom on first floor room with power shower cubicle, bath with hand shower, w.c., wash hand-basin and walk-in airing cupboard (housing tumble dryer). In addition there is a shower room on ground floor with shower, w.c. and wash-hand basin.
UTILITY ROOM On the first floor is a spacious utility area with washing machine and sink.
OUTSIDE Good sized rear terrace leading down to a decked area with table and chairs.
PARKING For up to three/four cars at the front of the house.
OTHER INFORMATION The house is mainly carpeted throughout. Secure stair gates available at no extra charge by request. Heating and hot water by gas combi-boiler. Wireless broadband access provided.
