Burgh Island Causeway is an exclusive development of holiday apartments with stunning, panoramic sea views across Bigbury Bay and direct access to acres of fine, golden sand on the award winning (and Blue Flag status) beach below. All apartments look directly across to Burgh Island which is cut off from the mainland at high tide and is only accessible by sea tractor - the island boasts an iconic Art Deco hotel popularised by the visits of Edward and Mrs Simpson, The Beatles, Noel Coward and Agatha Christie (who wrote two of her novels from there), and The Pilchard Inn pub which dates back to the 14th century.
Bigbury-on-Sea is delightful coastal village deep in the beautiful South Hams and in a designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' - the village store/Post Office is within 400m of the resort and there is quick and easy access to the South Devon Coastal Path nearby. Bigbury Golf Club (approx. 2 miles away) has wonderful sea views offers one of the finest and most challenging 18-hole courses in the area, whilst the famous sailing waters of Salcombe are just a 15-20 minute drive away.

The kitchen is well equipped with a range of fitted units, slate worktops, four-ring electric hob, electric oven, integrated fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and microwave. The sitting area has a large comfy sofa, three beautiful leather armchairs, glass coffee table, widescreen TV, DVD player, Bose iPod dock, Bose CD/radio and weather station! A glass and oak dining table - positioned to take in the views and in front of the sliding French doors - seats six comfortably.

The bar provides drinks and light meals throughout the day either in the club or the apartment - in addition here is a comfortable lounge area and an outside terrace facing the sea.
