'At the Beach' is a striking development of luxury apartments and cottages on the very edge of the sea at Slapton Sands. The development is the transformation of the former 'Torcross Hotel', a prominent and well known local landmark built in the late 1800's. Many of the hotel's original features have been retained and enhanced resulting in a stunning combination of Victorian elegance and modern day luxury. Torcross is situated at the end of a strip of land separating the Slapton Ley, a unique freshwater lake, and Start Bay. It boasts all amenities with a well stocked village shop and post office, gift shop, local butcher and beach side tea shops. Torcross is also home to the 'Start Bay Inn' which is renowned for its local fish dishes and tasty treats. The majority of apartments have stunning coastal views whilst the cottages overlook the beautiful Devon countryside. LOUNGE The kitchen opens into a very comfortable lounge area with a double sofa-bed*, two chairs, widescreen TV and DVD player. Double glazed French doors lead out onto terrace.

BEDROOMS Two in total. Master bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and en suite shower room with shower, wash-hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail. The second bedroom is an enclosed room with full sized bunk beds. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied.

BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a fully tiled bathroom with bath, wash-hand basin and w.c.

OUTSIDE Terrace with table and four chairs within just a few yards of the beach.

N.B. Please note that whilst the apartment is all on one level there are four steps up to the main entrance door.
