A very well presented former coach house retaining many original character features and with panoramic views across the River Dart and out to sea. The cottage is well equipped and furnished to a high standard with the accommodation over four floors - it is ideally suited to couples or families with older children.
LOCATION In the very heart of the town with easy access to all local facilities including restaurants, shops, galleries and pubs - the famous waterfront is within just a few minutes' level walk.
VIEWS Stunning 180 degree views of the River Dart, over to Kingswear and out to sea from most rooms.
ENTRANCE Two steps lead down from South Town to the front door and into a small glazed porch area.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A stable door leads into the well equipped kitchen with fitted units, wooden worktops, breakfast bar, electric hob and double oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and flatscreen TV. The dining area has a wooden table with four chairs, electric coal effect fire and views of the river.
SITTING ROOM On the first floor is a cosy sitting room with two double sofas, chair, window seat, flatscreen TV/DVD/CD/iPod docking station, radio and lovely views.
EN SUITE BEDROOMS Two. At lower ground floor level is a delightful double bedroom with King size bed, bedside units, dressing room and en suite bathroom with bath, hand-held Victorian shower, bidet, basin and w.c. Stairs lead down to a twin bedroom with two single beds and double French doors to a patio with superb river views. The en suite bathroom has a bath, handheld Victorian shower, bidet, basin and w.c. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied (except beach towels).
CONSERVATORY At the lower level is a conservatory with views of the river and door to the patio.
OUTSIDE Two good sized patios overlooking river with tables and chairs.
PARKING A parking pass is supplied for the long-stay car park (May to October) approximately 5-10 minutes walk away. Parking usually available nearby out of season.
OTHER INFORMATION Gas central heating and hot water. Mostly tiles and wooden flooring, with carpet in bedrooms. With regret this property is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
