Blackbird Barn is a beautifully furnished holiday cottage, one of seven barns set in delightful rolling countryside in a tiny Devon hamlet. Furnished in contemporary country style by an interior design company it is a beautiful haven of calm colours, with design touches and attention to detail to make for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

LOCATION Set in the very heart of the South Devon countryside adjacent to a working farm with pleasant views of farmland in all directions. The sea at Bantham is approximately 20-25 minutes away with stunning beaches and great surfing. The bustling harbour town of Salcombe with its stunning estuary, fine shops and restaurants is approximately 15 miles away whilst the historic naval town of Dartmouth is within a leisurely 20 minute drive.

KITCHEN/DINING/SITTING ROOM A fantastic open plan living space with a large apex ceiling with painted beams and beautiful reclaimed oak floor. Delightful fitted kitchen with an oak topped island, cream units, double oven range cooker, integrated dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with icebox and microwave. Pleasant dining area with large round table and rattan chairs. The sitting area has a comfortable saddle sofa with rattan armchairs, TV/DVD (with Freeview) and digital radio.

BEDROOMS Two in total. A lovely country bedroom with King size cream iron bed, quality tufted mattress, feather pillows, vintage inspired quilt and scatter cushions. Double wardrobe with drawer and wooden hangers. Beautifully furnished twin bedroom with two 3' cream iron beds with quality tufted mattresses, feather pillows, white bedcovers and check blankets. Marble topped antique bedside tables, corner chair and double wardrobe with drawer. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied.

BATHROOMS A fully tiled family bathroom with bath, shower (over) with drench head, basin, w.c., painted storage cupboard and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE Pleasant outside decking area with teak table and rattan style chairs. Pretty garden with mature shrubs, perennials, ferns and bulbs. Small paved front seating area with painted bench and clipped topiary in terrazzo pots.

PARKING Allocated space for up to two cars.
