Clover, Lower Court

Located next to a dairy farm (hence the names) at the end of a quiet lane in the small hamlet of East Down, just 5 minutes drive from Dartmouth. 'Clover', 'Buttercup' and 'Daisy' are three very tastefully decorated and furnished barns, retaining many original features including exposed beams and roof timbers. As with many barn conversions the accommodation is inverted with kitchen and lounge/dining room above the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom. All three barns are available to book together for larger family groups - please call the office as discounts may be available for a group booking. The development is teaming with bird life and wildlife such as hares, hedgehogs and water voles. The popular beaches at Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands as well as the nature reserve at Slapton Ley are within a pleasant 10 minute drive. There is also direct access to public footpaths with a beautiful walk to Blackawton highly recommended, and if all this were not enough, Woodlands Leisure Park is just 5 minutes drive away.

KITCHEN/LOUNGE/DINING ROOM The high quality kitchen area is well-equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and large fridge/freezer. The cosy lounge/dining room offers the perfect setting to unwind after a busy day exploring the area. The central feature is a superb Lange wood burner that oozes warmth and is surrounded by sofas and chairs, new Samsung LED HT TV with Samsung Blue Ray home cinema system and Sky + sat box with FreeSat (the unit also plays DVD's, CD's and has an ipod dock) and a pine dining table/chairs for six. There is even a drop-down roof airer to dry towels after a busy day on the beach!

BEDROOMS Stairs lead down from the hallway to three bedrooms, two of which are doubles and the third a children's room with bunk beds (and travel cot if required). The main rooms each have pine wardrobes and drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding those for the beach) are included.

BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES Travel Cot and highchair.

BATHROOM  The family bathroom (refurbished in 2011) has new flooring and is equipped with a bath, shower (over), shaving point and light, wash hand basin and w.c.

OUTSIDE Lovely country views and a good area of private lawned garden (shared with 'Buttercup') and dedicated terrace area with furniture.

PARKING For two cars.

OTHER INFORMATION Redecorated throughout in preparation of the 2011 season, Clover has new carpets throughout and new light fittings. Wi-fi available.
