LOCATION  The cottage is located in the centre of Dartmouth in quiet Lake Street (just off Victoria Road).  The town's famous waterfront can be easily reached in just a few minutes for a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and shops or for boat trips, crabbing or simply to watch the world go by.

ENTRANCE The cottage is accessed directly from Lake Street via three steps into a cosy and skilfully designed lounge/kitchen area.

LOUNGE/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM  A very stylishly presented room with oak flooring, L-shaped leather sofa, wall mounted flat screen TV with DVD/CD and Sky satellite, free wireless broadband for internet access, folding dining table with six chairs.  The modern galley kitchen has a range of units and storage, four-ring ceramic hob, electric oven, slimline dishwasher, fridge and microwave, toaster and fresh coffee maker.  Stairs leads up to the first floor from the lounge area with  integral stairgate at the top.

BEDROOMS On the first floor is a double/twin bedroom with original oak flooring and stacker bed made up as two single beds and drawers, TV and DVD player.  Stairs with integral stair gate leads to the second floor to a double bedroom built into the roof space enjoying a velux window, exposed beams and original Oak flooring.  King-size bed, TV and DVD/CD feed, hairdryer, cupboard with hanging space.  **An airbed is also available on request for the fifth person (a child only), which can be used in the Master bedroom. EN SUITE CLOAKROOM with w.c. and wash-hand basin also with velux window.  N.B. All duvets, linen, towels, bathmats and tea towels are provided - guests will require beach towels only.  (*Excluding short breaks - can be hired at cost). 

**The Retreat sleeps a maximum of 4 adults, or 4 adults plus 1 child only.

BATHROOM  In addition to the en suite cloakroom is a stylish black amd white tiled bathroom on the first floor.  With bath, shower (over), w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.  Also on the first floor is a built-in cupboard with washer/dryer, small freezer and combination boiler providing unlimited hot water at all times. There is also a clothes airer,iron and table board.

OUTSIDE  At first floor level there are double doors out to a fantastic 30' wide decking area over two levels.  Enjoy your morning coffee at the bistro table on the first level or a family meal at the six-seater table and chairs or just relax in the double swing chair and sun lounger.  Retractable clothes line.

BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES Include travel cot, highchair/booster seat, stair gates, bed guard, potty, step and toilet seat, bath chair and bathmat, Fisher Price Bath Centre, bouncing cradle chair, baby monitor, pushchair and rain cover, steam sterilizer, plastic crockery and cutlery and many more items.

PARKING  A seasonal parking pass for the Mayors Avenue car park is provided (approximately 2 minutes walk away) from April for 6 months.  There is a space outside the property for loading/unloading.

DART MARINA SPA MEMBERSHIP Guests can enjoy the use of the luxury facilities of the Dart Marina Health Spa, including indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi, gym and beautifully designed relaxation areas. . Beauty treatments from Elemis can be pre-booked, with 10% off for those staying at The Retreat (Available from 1st April 2013 to 1st October 2013 only) Please check details with the office.

OTHER INFORMATION Thermostatically controlled gas-fired central heating and unlimited hot water.  No pets are accepted and the property is strictly non-smoking. Christmas decorations provided during the festive season.
