Whispers Edge

Whispers Edge is a spacious and very comfortable detached house ideally suited to a family group or couples within easy reach of the local beach and village amenities.  The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard and is well equipped throughout, particularly for families with younger children.

LOCATION The house is located in the pretty village of Hope Cove just a short walk from the beach and access to the South West Coast Path.  The village has a pub, shop and restaurants, and is within just a short drive of Salcombe, Thurlestone and the market town of Kingsbridge.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room with fitted Shaker-style units, marble worktops, dresser, electric cooker, fridge and dishwasher.  Oak dining table with six chairs and child's wooden chair.  The kitchen extends into a large UTILITY/CLOAKROOM with further fitted units, sink, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Study area with desk and chair.  Door to cloakroom with w.c and wash-hand basin.  

CONSERVATORY From the utility area a door leads through to a small conservatory with access to the garden. 

SITTING ROOM Three steps lead down from the kitchen to a very comfortable sitting room with two double sofas, two armchairs, feature fireplace with wood-burning stove (not available for guest use), flat-screen TV with Freeview, and DVD player. 

BEDROOMS Three in total, all on the first floor.  The master bedroom has a King size bed, bedside units, wardrobe, drawers and Juliet balcony with sea views.  En suite with shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail.  A smaller double room has a super-King size bed (6'), wardrobe/drawers and chair.  A twin room has two single beds, bedside unit, wardrobe and drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (except beach towels) are supplied.

BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES A travel cot and high chair are available on request.

BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a fully tiled family bathroom on the first floor with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail. 

OUTSIDE Fully enclosed mostly lawned garden to the front of the house.  Terrace area with garden furniture.

PARKING Off road parking for two cars on gravelled drive to the front of the house

OTHER INFORMATION Most rooms are carpeted with Karndean flooring in the kitchen and utility area.  Smoking and/or pets are not permitted at the property.  Telephone and wireless broadband internet available.
