East Portlemouth
East Portlemouth is a pretty village, on the opposite bank of the tidal estuary to Salcombe. Visitors to this lovely area can enjoy spectacular water views, build sandcastles on the unspoilt sandy beaches, or catch the small foot passenger ferry across to Salcombe for an afternoon shopping. The beautiful South West Coast Path provides fantastic walks to Gara Rock and beyond, whilst the historic maritime town of Dartmouth is a scenic 15 mile drive away.
