Andrew & Karen Jones (Managing Partners)
Andrew and Karen moved to the South Hams following their acquisition of Coast & Country Cottages, and a second smaller agency, Devon Connection in 2001. They subsequently acquired a third holiday business - Dartmouth Cottages - in 2004, and integrated the three brands to a single entity in 2005.

Andrew had previously enjoyed a successful 15 year career in the leisure industry in a variety of senior operational management/director roles from where he learned very quickly the importance of delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards to ensure customers' expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

On a day-to-day basis Andrew operates essentially as the agency's Property Director and will handle the majority of enquiries from potential new owners and the subsequent property and rental assessments. This ensures, hopefully, that all clients are given clear and honest information at the outset and are fully aware of the letting potential of their property as well as the services the agency can offer to support their rental programme.

Following a successful career in a number of management and marketing positions - most notably as a Brand Manager with The Boots Company - Karen now directs the Marketing team to ensure that through an extensive advertising and marketing campaign every opportunity is made to encourage customers to book a holiday with Coast & Country Cottages rather than with anyone else! Karen also works very closely with other industry professionals (including PR & Advertising agencies, online experts etc.) and regularly writes for a number of publications including Devon Life - indeed she has had over 40 travel pieces published in recent years promoting the agency and the South Hams in both local and national magazines.

Jon Doyle (Operations Director), become a junior partner in the business in 2008. He works very closely with Andrew and Karen to ensure the business maintains its enviable reputation for high standards of service. See Jon's full details on the Management Team page.
