Salcombe Holiday Accommodation
Salcombe, our most popular location and one of the most beautiful sailing and fishing centres in the country, situated near the mouth of a tidal estuary, with its maze of streets leading down to the delightful waterfront. With facilities for all types of craft from dinghies to schooners, sailing is a great attraction; whilst boats of all desciption are available to hire, with or without tuition. During the Salcombe Regatta fortnight every August the town bustles with activities and entertainment for all, including a spectacular firework display over the water, plus sailing, rowing, running and swimming competitions which are popular with competitors and spectators alike. Our unspoilt, sandy coves are perfect for family beach days and sandcastles, swimming and cricket, whilst wonderful coastal walking makes this an all year round choice for many of our visitors. Others come for the delicious ice cream, the shopping, and of course, the cream teas! There is something for everyone and all tastes and budgets in Salcombe, plus stunning views!
