The market town of Totnes is steeped in history with its popular Elizabethan market, unspoilt architecture, and annual events like Orange Rolling down Fore Street every Summer, a tradition which was reputedly started by Sir Francis Drake. The town is undoubtedly quirky and interesting in equal measures, and is certainly worth a visit.
