Loddiswell circular<\/h2>\n<p>This walk along the old railway line through Avon Valley Woods is ideal for sunny days, being mostly shaded and largely level throughout. It\u2019s probably the easiest of all the South Devon walks in this list, but the terrain can be challenging in other ways, with occasional trees to clamber over and some crooked steps to climb along the river. This unique scenery between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coastandcountry.co.uk\/salcombe.html\">Salcombe<\/a> and Bolt Tail will take your breath away \u2013 and, it should be said, so will some of the hills! Dartmouth to Greenway and Dittisham\">5. Dartmouth to Greenway and Dittisham<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29898\" src=\"https:\/\/www.coastandcountry.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/01\/The-Dart-Valley-Trail-Dittisham.jpg\" alt=\"The Dart Valley Trail - Dittisham - South Devon walks\" width=\"930\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dartmouth and Kingswear have the distinction of being on both the South West Coast Path and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coastandcountry.co.uk\/blog\/the-dart-valley-trail\">The Dart Valley Trail<\/a>, two wonderful walking routes that every keen hiker has to try. From Dartmouth you can walk directly to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coastandcountry.co.uk\/blog\/dittisham-village-guide\">Dittisham<\/a> through the beautiful Raleigh Estate. Stop at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ferryboatinndittisham.pub\/\">Ferry Boat Inn<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/anchorstonecafe.co.uk\/\">Anchorstone Caf\u00e9<\/a> before hopping over the river to National Trust property of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/greenway\">Greenway<\/a>.
