Surf’s up for a fantastic cause! The Wave Project UK, is an incredible charity dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through surfing, and Coast and Country Cottages charity of the year. This year we are hosting an exhilarating event outside our offices on Island Street, Salcombe.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Join us for an adrenaline-filled day as we come together to support The Wave Project UK and the amazing work they do. This charity event is designed to not only raise funds but also spread awareness about the importance of mental health and the healing power of surfing.<\/p>\n

Here’s what you can expect:<\/p>\n

Pop-up challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n

How many surf-style pop-ups can you do in 60 seconds? Take part in this challenge for the chance to not only take on the title of \u201cpop-up champion\u201d but also a smores hamper from The POSH Hamper Co<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and a Coast & Country Cottages<\/strong><\/a> gift bag (child winner) or a \u00a350 gift voucher from Triocean Surf <\/strong><\/a>(adult winner).<\/p>\n

Mini beach clean<\/strong><\/p>\n

How many pieces of \u2018litter\u2019 can you find hiding in the sand on our mini beach? A fun activity for the children to not only highlight the importance of taking litter home after a day on the sand, but to also earn themselves a reward if they find all ten pieces!<\/p>\n

Surfboard design challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children can enter our surfbboard design challenge to be in the chance of winning a great prize! There will be three categories for the creative contest \u2013 age 5 and under, 6-10 years and 11 years+.<\/p>\n

Grand raffle<\/strong><\/p>\n
