Here in South Devon, we\u2019re lucky to have such a strong sense of community \u2013 and at Coast & Country Cottages, we\u2019re proud to play our part by supporting Devon Air Ambulance<\/a> throughout 2025.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This vital charity provides lifesaving emergency care across our beautiful yet rural region. Our team understand that this incredible service is essential for both locals living and working here, as well as those holidaying in the region. As such we are pleased to have nominated Devon Air Ambulance as our designated charity of the year.<\/p>\n

To help raise funds, we\u2019re inviting children to take part in a brand new competition that\u2019s all about using their imagination…<\/p>\n

\n

Design a dream holiday home for Heli<\/em><\/h2>\n

\"Devon<\/p>\n

We\u2019re asking children of all ages to put their artistic skills to the test by designing a holiday home for \u2018Heli<\/em>\u2019 the helicopter!<\/p>\n

Will it be a grand seaside hideaway with a helipad and hangar? Or a snug countryside barn with everything Heli<\/em> needs after a busy day in the skies? Whatever you dream up, make it bright, bold and bursting with creativity \u2013 we can\u2019t wait to see the results.<\/p>\n

To enter, we encourage parents to make a small donation if they can. Every donation will be matched by our parent company, Sykes Cottages, doubling the impact and helping us raise even more for Devon Air Ambulance.<\/p>\n

The prize<\/span><\/h2>\n

One lucky winner will receive a \u00a3500 Sykes Cottages voucher<\/strong> to use on a UK self-catering holiday<\/a> <\/span>in 2026. The competition will run throughout the summer, closing on 31st October 2025, so there\u2019s plenty of time to get involved.<\/p>\n

How to enter<\/h2>\n

Download<\/a> <\/span>or collect an entry form from our stand at one of the many shows\u00a0and events<\/a> <\/span>we are attending in 2025.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, collect your form from our offices: Hannaford\u2019s Landing, Salcombe, TQ8 8FE,<\/em> or De Courcey House, Mayor\u2019s Avenue, Dartmouth, TQ6 9NF<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Then, simply complete your design, and return it to our team in the offices either in person or by post \u2013 or email it to victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Judging will take place on 1st November 2025.<\/p>\n

Competition Terms and Conditions<\/p>\n

1. The Competition prize is made up of a \u00a3500 voucher, which can be used on a stay at any property listed with Sykes Holiday Cottages, or any of the regional brands associated with them.
\n2. The prize of the \u00a3500 holiday voucher is valid for 2 years from date of competition closing. Must be redeemed by 31st October 2027.
\n4. The competition can be entered by any child aged 4 to 17. A parent or guardian aged 18 or over must be listed on the entry form, who will be allocated the prize voucher.
\n5. The competition prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer; is non-transferable and there shall be no alternative prize or cash alternative offered.
\n6. Sykes Cottages will not be held accountable for any costs, losses, damages, and expenses (including travel fees) that the winner may incur in relation to the Competition or prize or as a result of any misrepresentation of the prize.
\n7. The prize winner is required to pay the \u2018good housekeeping bond\u2019 associated with booking this property. Please see section 4.12 of our booking conditions for more information.
\n8. The winner will be contacted by Coast & Country Cottages directly.
\n9. All entry requirements must have been followed to be entered into the competition. The prize will only be awarded if the minimum fundraising target of \u00a3500, as set by the organisers, is met. If the target is not reached, the business reserves the right to withhold the prize. The prize is offered across multiple Sykes brands and is not limited to a single brand.
