The designs were full of colour, imagination and originality, making it a tough job for the judges to pick just one winner.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Meet the winner<\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_37031\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-37031\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37031\" src=\"https:\/\/www.coastandcountry.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/12\/Untitled-design-49-1.jpg\" alt=\"The winner of the Devon Air Ambulance competition Matilda with Vicky from Coast &amp; Country Cottages\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-37031\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Matilda with her competition prize and winning design<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After much deliberation, Matilda Horswill has been crowned the overall winner, impressing the Devon Air Ambulance panel with their imaginative and thoughtful creation. She will receive a \u00a3500 holiday voucher to enjoy a self-catering family break in 2026.<\/p>\n<h3>Tracy Hepper, Corporate Partnership Manager at Devon Air Ambulance, said:<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHuge thanks to everyone who took part in this summer competition by Coast &amp; Country Cottages to design our Heli a new home! It&#8217;s been a real pleasure to look through all the wonderful, creative entries, and really hard to find a lucky winner! Well done Matilda, your design has everything our Heli needs to keep it safe and ready for the next mission! Thank you for your tremendous effort! She raised an impressive \u00a3472, which will be fund matched by the company.<\/p>\n<h3>Suzy Thompson Yates, Regional Owner Success Manager at Coast &amp; Country Cottages, added:<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe\u2019d like to say a huge congratulations to all the children who entered our \u2018Design Heli a Holiday Home\u2019 competition! The creativity and imagination shown was fantastic.
