Combehaven is a development of luxury houses and apartments set in private, landscaped grounds on the site of the former Methodist Church, and within easy walking distance of Salcombe's shops, restaurants and stunning estuary.

ACCOMMODATION A luxury duplex/penthouse apartment over the top two floors of the Combehaven development. Direct lift access is available to the entry level.
VIEWS Superb estuary views from the lounge, dining area, bedrooms and extensive balcony.
KITCHEN/LOUNGE/DINING ROOM This open plan area has an attractive New England 'shaker' style maple kitchen with granite worktop, butchers block, four-ring gas hob, double electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. The lounge centrepiece is a modern steel and beech fireplace with coal-effect gas fire. Two large double sofas, coffee table, TV with Sky HD, DVD player and Bose sounddock. Double French doors open out to the balcony. The dining area has a table seating up to six and further double doors to the balcony.
BEDROOMS A stylishly presented master bedroom (on the lower level) has a King-size double bed with ornate brass frame, bedside units, built-in wardrobes and French doors to the balcony. The en suite shower room has under floor heating, power shower, wash-hand basin, w.c, shaver-point, light and heated towel rail. On the upper level is a further double bedroom with super-King size bed, bedside units, drawers and small fitted wardrobe. A third bedroom at this level (available on request only) is presented as a nursery/junior suite with single daybed (suitable for small children only), cot, fitted wardrobes and drawers. The spacious en suite bathroom with under-floor heating has a bath, shower (over), hand-held shower, w.c., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver point and light. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen, and towels are provided (excluding beach towels).
BATHROOMS In addition to the two en suites (above) is a further shower room (adjacent to bedroom two) with under-floor heating, power shower, wash-hand basin, w.c, shaver-point, light and heated towel rail.
OUTSIDE Magnificent 35 foot long balcony with elevated views across the estuary towards South Pool Creek. Tables and chairs available.
PARKING For two cars in gated car park.
OTHER INFORMATION The Combehaven properties each enjoy the benefits of full gas fired central heating and hot water, entry telephone system. Mainly beech laminate flooring and carpet throughout. Wireless broadband internet available.

“we have rated 4 star because of its position and its lovely views this was our fourth visit to number 10 overall cleanliness has declined over the period would benefit from a general redecoration replacement of soft furnishings and rugs and worst of all the lounge floor is in extremely poor condition”

Thank you for your feedback, although we were concerned to read that the property was not satisfactorily presented prior to your arrival.  We work very hard with our owners to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained, so it is very disappointing to read these comments.  Please be rest assured your feedback has been forwarded to the owner, who is now fully aware and would like to pass on their apologies for any disappointment experienced during your holiday.  On a positive note,  we have been advised that many improvements are being undertaken to the property over the winter months:  new curtains, rugs, interior decoration, together with floor sanding etc.     We do hope that you will choose to return to 10 Combehaven for your fifth stay in 2018.

“Absolutely lovely apartment, quality fixtures and fittings, beautiful views and very spacious. Huge balcony would have been great to sit out there in the evening if the weather had been warmer.
only slight negative was the laminate floor which could do with an upgrade. Would not put me off of staying again, everything else was exceptional.”

“An excellent property with fantastic views. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and spacious, everything that we could have needed to make our stay there such a good one. It was in a quiet area with only 5 minutes walk down in to Salcombe so the location is ideal and the parking is such a bonus.”

“The apartment did not disappoint. It is beautifully furnished and equipped to a good standard with everything you could possibly need, even a shopping basket and flasks for days out. It was lovely having the lounge doors open and enjoying the splendid views (when it wasn't raining!) up the estuary whilst eating breakfast and during the later afternoon/evening. The balcony was let down however by the furniture and note that despite the property description saying so, there are no loungers. We were just two guests so didn't use upstairs apart from drying our wet things in the very warm bathroom (drying rack provided). It did appear to get very hot upstairs so not sure how comfortable the temperature would be for sleeping, although fans were provided (the weather was not hot during our stay - mid June). The apartment would benefit from a thorough clean underneath beds and inside wardrobes/cupboards, although everywhere else seemed clean. Combehaven is very conveniently situated with only a short walk downhill or via steps into Salcombe and all that it has to offer. Can also walk to North and South Sands and Overbecks. Book restaurants in advance if dining out at weekends or in peak season. Nearest supermarkets are in Kingsbridge.”

We were also grateful for your valuable feedback in respect of the provision of 'essentials' at this property. Generally speaking, it is our standard policy to have properties supplied with basic materials, such as a starter pack of cleaning items, (including some washing up liquid and several dishwasher tablets where appropriate) together with at least one toilet roll per bathroom.
