Beacon PointCottages are an exclusive development of four recently-built stone-clad holiday homes situated on the cliff edge at Thurlestone Sands, enjoying magnificent sea views and quick access to the South West Coast Path.  The cottages all have allocated parking for two cars but are just a five minute walk from the beach at Thurlestone Sands. The historic villages of Thurlestone and Hope Cove are both nearby, with Salcombe just a 10-minute drive away.

A delightful three-storey cottage, very tastefully furnished and presented to a high standard, and with stunning sea views from the kitchen, lounge and master bedroom. The accommodation is perfectly suited to family groups of four adults and two children or perhaps two couples seeking a comfortable and very well equipped holiday retreat in beautiful surroundings and with easy access to the coastline.

LOCATION The cottage is just a mile or so walk from the picturesque village of Hope Cove with its old stone and thatch buildings, and within a short drive (or longer walk!) of Thurlestone village with its 18-hole Links golf course, church, traditional inn, post office, hotel and restaurant. The award-winning beach at Thurlestone Sands is very close by with many others along the beautiful coastline, ideal for water sports enthusiasts and sandcastle builders alike! The South Devon coastal path is also very close by - perfect for those looking to explore the area on foot.
VIEWS The cottage enjoys magnificent views across to Burgh Island, Bigbury Bay and Hope Cove from the garden, terrace, and all sea-facing rooms.
ENTRANCE A few yards' walk from the parking area into an entrance lobby off which is a good sized cloakroom with w.c., wash-hand basin and room for coats and shoes. Up six steps to the landing and into the living area.
LOUNGE/DINING ROOM An open plan room with beautiful oak flooring, large comfortable L-shaped leather settee, two leather 'bucket' chairs, wood burning stove (not in use) and feature stone fireplace, flat screen digital television and DVD player. The dining area features a stunning oak and glass table with six chairs and spectacular views over the garden and out to sea. To the side is a door which leads out via steps to the garden and terrace area.
KITCHEN With hand-crafted cream units and granite worktops, four-ring Kuppersbusch ceramic hob and electric oven, integrated microwave oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Stunning views from the kitchen again out to sea towards Burgh Island and beyond.
BEDROOMS On the upper level (built into the roof space) is a lovely double bedroom with oak flooring, King-size oak-framed bed, bedside units, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, leather chair and stool. En suite shower room with shower cubicle, wash- hand basin, w.c. with heated towel rail and shaver point.  At the lower ground level is a fully carpeted second smaller double bedroom with King-size bed, oak bedside units, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe. The third bedroom is a fully carpeted twin room with two full-size single beds, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobes and bedside units. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen, bath/hand towels are provided. Please note this property sleeps a maximum of 5 adults, or 4 adults plus 2 children. A travel cot and high chair are available for guests
BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a newly refurbished (2014) family bathroom on the lower ground floor level with bath, separate shower cubicle, w.c., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.
OUTSIDE To the side and rear of the cottage is a good sized lawned garden and a paved terrace area with table and chairs.
PARKING Two allocated parking spaces adjacent to the cottage and garden.
OTHER INFORMATION Strictly no smokers or pets permitted. Oil fired central heating and hot water. Broadband available.  Please note the property is not suitable for six adults, but will comfortably suit four adults plus two children.
