1 Holmleigh is a comfortable ground floor apartment within a substantial Victorian house, just minutes from Salcombe's array of boutique shops, pubs, restaurants and delightful waterfront. The spacious single storey accommodation is an ideal bolthole for families or adult groups and has the additional benefit of a good-sized garden and parking for up to two cars and a boat trailer.
LOCATION At the very lower end of Allenhayes Road, just 200 yards or so downhill walk (steep in places) from Salcombe's famous waterfront, shops and restaurants.
ENTRANCE From Allenhayes Road a short path leads up to a covered veranda and from there into a large central hallway, off which most rooms are accessed.
SITTING ROOM A cosy sitting room has two double sofas, occasional furniture, TV and DVD player. This leads through to a very spacious, light and sunny CONSERVATORY with additional seating and direct access to the garden.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM The kitchen is equipped with a range of fitted units, four-ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, larder fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. An archway leads from the kitchen to the dining area which has a large wooden table with bench seating and chairs for 8-10. A separate UTILITY ROOM has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and Belfast sink.
BEDROOMS Three in total. The en suite master bedroom has a super-King size, wooden-framed bed, bedside tables, and wardrobe. The en suite has a shower cubicle, basin and w.c. The second bedroom has a King-size bed (that can be split on request to create two small single beds), bedside units and wardrobe, whilst the third has two sets of bunk beds*, drawers, TV and games console. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided. Tenants will require beach and tea towels. *N.B. The second set of bunk beds is only available on request and at additional cost - the maximum occupancy is for 6 only unless specified at the time of booking.
BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a family bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, w.c. and basin.
OUTSIDE A spacious, private area of garden to the side of the apartment, laid mainly to lawn but with some mature trees and shrubs. Garden furniture and barbecue available.
PARKING Off road parking for 2-3 cars on shared drive at the rear of the house. The first parking space is the parking bay marked 1 and the other 2 are in front of the garage on the left just on lakeside road.
