Seaspray is a two-storey mews cottage (the middle of three) offering reverse level living accommodation and balcony to take full advantage of the stunning sea views. Adjacent to the beach it is ideal for couples who enjoy walking, bird watching, golf or a family with young children who want to take advantage of the wonderful location and on-site heated swimming pool.

LOCATION  A reverse level mews cottage with stunning views of Thurlestone Rock and South Milton Ley Nature Reserve. The South West Coast Path passes the front door and leads to Hope Cove or Thurlestone village. Nearby is the beautiful South Milton Sands, renowned Thurlestone Golf Course and plenty of places to dine out or enjoy the area. 

ACCOMMODATION Entrance hall with tiled floor, cloak room area and shoe storage leading to the ground floor bedrooms, shower room and first floor living area.

LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN A very pleasant first floor living area with sliding doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, stunning sea views and Thurlestone Rock. Dining area has an oak dining table and upholstered leather chairs. Well-equipped kitchen with views over South Milton Ley, includes electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Comfortable lounge area with sofa, easy chair, coffee table, quality midi hifi (with bluetooth streaming), books and games. Smart HD TV, Playstation 4 with blu-ray/DVD player and cinema sound bar. Selection of DVD/CDs and Playstation games for you to enjoy.
BEDROOMS Two ground floor bedrooms; one with 4'6"" double bed, built in wardrobe, mirror, plug point and hairdryer. The second bedroom is a twin with single beds, built in wardrobe, drawers and mirror. N.B. Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels provided (except those for the beach/pool).
BABY FRIENDLY FACILITIES Travel cot (no bedding), high chair and baby bath.
SHOWER ROOM Ground floor, WC, hand basin, shower cubicle, heated towel rail and wall fan heater.
OUTSIDE Large patio areas with barbeque facilities.

OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL Thurlestone Rock residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is available from early June to late September each year (subject to change).  (Shared) with children's area and shower facilities. Please check with office for confirmed dates. Access to the Pool at the side of the Mews.
PARKING Parking for two cars plus visitor parking.
OTHER INFORMATION Fully carpeted lounge and bedrooms. Heating by electric panel heaters and hot water by immersion heater. Strictly no smoking or pets permitted. Wireless broadband internet available. Telephone (with honesty box).

“Cottage was in a fantastic location with spectacular views. It was well equipped but whoever the owner pays to clean is woefully inadequate.p, not the owners fault but the cleaning company! There is a bbq right outside the bedroom which would have been obtrusive if children were sleeping also the pool can be very loud but not late in the evening. We would stay there again though as it was right on the beach.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay at Seaspray, Thurlestone Rock Mews.  We value your feedback and your comments have been forwarded  to this particular owner who was glad to hear you found the location to be spectacular but was disappointed to read your comments regarding the bbq, pool and in particular that the property was not properly cleaned and presented prior to your arrival.  We have tried unsuccessfully to contact you (on behalf of the owners) to discuss the issues in greater detail, but with no success so far.  As you will appreciate we work very hard with our owners and their nominated housekeepers to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained, so it is very disappointing to read these comments of this kind. We will, of course, follow up and take what action is required to avoid further problems of this kind.  Please feel free to contact this office on 01548 843773 to discuss the matter further if you would prefer.    In terms of the bbq, it is not situated outside the bedroom, but further along and there are restrictions on its usage to prevent unnecessary disturbance .  During the August Bank Holiday weekend, it is expected that families will be making full use of the swimming pool and during the last days of the summer holidays.  The swimming pool does have restricted use for the day so as not to disturb residents in the evening.  Thank you again for taking the time to leave your feedback,  it was pleasing to hear that despite the issues raised you would stay again and have awarded your overall holiday experience as 4 star.    We look forward to welcoming you back to the South Hams very soon.

“Lovely cottage by the sea,wonderful views.The inside of the property was a delight,very clean and new,we felt we were the first people to use it.Very nautical and comfortable,bright and breezy!”
