Stonehanger is a former coach house converted into four flats with shared garden, good estuary views and parking for one car each.  The development is in a quieter area towards the top of the town but offers quick access to Salcombe, the estuary and local sandy beaches.

Flat 4 (First Floor)
A very comfortable, well equipped first floor flat within a 10-15 minute (downhill) walk of the town centre, with good estuary views towards the main anchorage from the lounge and main bedroom, and allocated parking for one car. Flat 4 is in an ideal location for a summer holiday or out-of-season break and is perfectly set up for couples or families alike.

LOCATION Stonehanger is on Herbert Road (off Devon Road) in an elevated position approximately 10-15 minutes downhill walk (steep in places) from Salcombe town centre.
VIEWS Pleasant views over the town to East Portlemouth beach and South Pool creek from the lounge.
LOUNGE/DINING ROOM A small lobby area leads into a good-sized lounge and dining room with flatscreen television, DVD player, two double leather sofas and occasional furniture. Wooden dining table with six chairs.
KITCHEN A galley-style kitchen with cream units, four-ring gas hob, electric oven, slimline dishwasher, fridge, washer/dryer and microwave.
BEDROOMS Master bedroom with wooden-framed King-size bed, wardrobe, bedside units and drawers. Bedroom two has two wooden-framed single beds, wardrobe, bedside units, and drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels provided.  Guests need to bring beach and tea towels.
BATHROOM A family bathroom with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.
OUTSIDE To the side of the coach house is a pleasant communal area of lawned garden, and small terrace with table and chairs.
PARKING Off-road parking for one car.
OTHER INFORMATION Heating and instant hot water via combi boiler. Strictly no smokers or pets permitted. Wireless broadband internet available.

“Overall a lovely, light and spacious flat with a beautiful view. Generally well equipped but some significant drawbacks. Small irritations include a lack of draining rack, clothes airer/adequate space on towel rack in bathroom and lack of information about recycling procedures. The huge issue for us though - which would mean we would be unlikely to book the flat again in a hurry - was the wholly inadequate curtains in the bedrooms. They afforded about as much darkness as a piece of net curtain which meant we had to buy a blackout blind intended for nurseries to have any hope of getting a decent night's sleep.”
