ACCOMMODATION A delighful first floor apartment with views and parking for two cars.

KITCHEN/LOUNGE/DINING ROOM Open plan area with superb New England 'shaker' style maple kitchen with granite worktop, AEG gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. The lounge centrepiece is a modern steel and maple fireplace with coal-effect gas fire. Very comfortable L-shaped sofa with matching armchair, flatscreen TV, Blu Ray DVD player, digital radio, glass coffee and side tables, and glass-topped dining table with six chairs. Double French doors open out to a French balcony with views over neighbouring houses across to the estuary.

BEDROOMS Three in total. Master bedroom with King-size bed, matching bedside units and drawers, built-in wardrobes, flatscreen TV, and en suite shower room with under floor heating, power shower, wash-hand basin, w.c. shaver point, light and heated towel rail.  The second bedroom also has a King-size bed, matching bedside units and wardrobe, whilst the third has full size bunk beds, matching bedside unit and drawers, and TV with xBox.  N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels provided - guests require beach and tea towels.

BATHROOM In addition to the en suite shower room a separate family bathroom with under floor heating, Bette steel bath, power shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c., shaver point, light and heated towel rail.  

PARKING Allocated bays in courtyard car park for two cars (please note that boats and/or trailers are not permitted) - a lift runs from ground floor/car park level in each of the two main apartment buildings.  

OTHER INFORMATION The properties each enjoy the benefits of full gas fired central heating and hot water, and entry telephone system. Mainly beech laminate flooring with carpet in the bedrooms.  Wireless broadband internet available.

Outstanding accommodation and will book it again, it ticked all of our boxes. Loved it and was sad to leave. It was well equipped with good quality items and furnishings.

Great location and facilities. Just minor issues prevent a full 5 star rating - would strongly advise having coasters/table mats to help look after dining table and furniture plus a dustpan and brush would have assisted in making sure apartment needed only minimal cleaning after departure. That apart would definitely like to book this apartment again.

Really nice apartment for the price. Good view of the estuary. Parking for two cars, a bonus in Salcombe. Only a five minute walk into the centre. No wifi but there's a BT hotspot so it wasn't a problem.

It was lovely but no Wifi and lacked large living space. Was noisy at night. Bathroom door was massive and fan very loud which woke children at night.

This lovely, bright apartment does not offer frills and fancy but reflects it's price range, which I consider to be fair. I just wish it had WiFi ( I hadn't read the details properly). I consider this to be a basic facility today.

6 Coombehaven is a great property to stay in and will definitely be booking it again. Thanks for a great stay - great location, good parking and well presented.

Although very clean and warm the property felt sterile and rather like a hotel room. Needed some books and games at the very least! Placemats to put on the glass table would have been useful. Personalised instructions to work gas fire, cooker etc. as well as the manuals provided. Who wants to plough through those on holiday? (But useful as a last resort). Car parking onsite was a plus and proximity to the town was a bonus. However the main complaint we had was the lack of WIFI. In this day and age it is a must. Coast and Country tried their best to find a solution but to no avail. We have been coming to Salcombe off and on for forty years and although we will return at some stage I don't think it will be to this property.

I think this must be newly appointed property. It was ideal for our near year trip. The layout of the apartment is very good. But the lack of wi-fi was disappointing. The lounge windows suffered from bad condensation, which obviously has marked the wooden floor. Plus the lack of table mats and coasters for the large glass table caused a problem at meal times. Otherwise, plenty of plates and glasses
