LOCATION The house is set back in a quiet lane just a few minutes walk from Thurlestone village and the local beaches nearby. The ever-popular sailing waters of Salcombe are within a pleasant 10-15 drive, as is the market town of Kingsbridge.
VIEWS Very pleasant views from the upper bedrooms in particular, across the village, neighbouring farmland and to the sea beyond.
ENTRANCE From the driveway there is an open porch that offers level access into a spacious hallway. Stairs lead up to a large landing area with a secondary sitting area offering good sea views and TV with video and DVD player.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM A recently upgraded and well equipped kitchen has light oak units, marble tiles, electric cooker with ceramic hob and double oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, oak breakfast table and chairs. A door leads out to the garden. A UTILITY ROOM adjacent to the garage houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and second fridge.
SITTING/DINING ROOM A comfortably furnished sitting room has two leather sofas, leather armchair, feature stone fireplace (with electric flame-effect fire), flatscreen TV, DVD player, and stereo/CD system. The dining area has a good-sized table seating up to eight. French doors lead through into the SUNROOM with lovely views across the garden and to the sea beyond - the light and sunny room has armchairs, a small sofa and an additional dining table with four chairs.
BEDROOMS Four in total, three of which are on the first floor. The master bedroom has a King-size sleigh bed, bedside tables, fitted cupboards, TV, and en suite bathroom with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin and w.c. A second double bedroom has a sleigh bed, fitted wardrobes and large picture window with sea views. There is also a twin bedroom at this level, with two single metal-framed single beds, bedside tables and fitted wardrobes/drawers. On the ground floor is a further double room with sleigh bed, bedside tables, TV, hi-fi system, dressing area, and en suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, and w.c. (N.B. This bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway). N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied.
BATHROOMS In addition to the two en suites (above) is an additional family bathroom on the first floor with bath, shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, bidet and w.c.
OUTSIDE A very attractive and well-maintained private garden to the rear is fully enclosed and features large areas of lawn bordered by shrubs, trees and seating. A raised terrace has teak garden furniture and a barbecue.
PARKING Off-road parking on gravel drive for up to four cars.
