LOCATION The apartment is at the upper end of Coronation Road, a relatively quiet area of Salcombe, yet only 5-7 minutes’ walk into the town. The famous harbour and estuary, popular with sailors and other watersports enthusiasts, is very close by, whilst the beautiful beaches of East Portlemouth and Millbay can be accessed via a small passenger ferry that runs from the town all year round.
VIEWS From the master bedroom and sitting room there are good views across the town towards South Pool Creek and the Salcombe estuary.
ENTRANCE A flight of stone steps lead up from the parking area on Coronation Road to the upper ground floor entrance, and then into a lobby with space for coats and shoes. Stairs lead up to the living accommodation on the top two floors of the house.
SITTING ROOM To the front of the property is a very comfortably furnished and spacious sitting room with two double sofas, armchairs, wall-mounted TV, DVD player and good views. There is direct, level access from the sitting room to both the master bedroom and kitchen, with stairs leading up to two further bedrooms.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM An attractive and very good sized, open-plan kitchen/dining area has a range of fitted wall and floor units, four-ring electric ceramic hob (2017) and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer (2017), and a dining table seating six comfortably. OUTSIDE To the rear of the property is an area of decking with table and chairs for six. Steps lead up to a lovely raised terrace with bistro table and chairs, and lovely views. Barbecue available.
PARKING Off-road parking directly off Coronation Road for one large/two small cars (bay is approx. 4.8m wide). Additional/alternative parking is usually available in the nearby long-stay car park (please check daily/weekly costs with the office prior to booking).
