Cloverwell is a recently renovated cottage annexe in a delightful country location with lovely rural views over neighbouring fields. The well equipped and comfortably furnished accommodation is all at first floor level and ideal for a couple looking to explore the local countryside and coastline.
LOCATION Situated within the extensive grounds of Manor Cottage (the owners home), Cloverwell is set in the pretty village of Woodleigh within a few miles of Kingsbridge, Salcombe and just a 15-20 minute drive to Bigbury Bay and Bantham beach - the cottage is also within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park.
VIEWS Very pleasant rural views over the neighbouring fields and countryside.
ENTRANCE A ground floor entrance leads into a small lobby with stairs to the living accommodation, which is all at first floor level.
KITCHEN/DINING/SITTING ROOM A delightful open plan, light and sunny area with high vaulted ceiling and attractive wooden cross beams. The recently refurbished and well-equipped Shaker-style kitchen area has fitted units, four-ring electric hob, oven and grill, fridge with freezer compartment, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. A wooden dining table seats four comfortably. The tastefully furnished sitting area has a double sofa (that can be converted to a bed on request - see Bedroom section below), bean bag, coffee table, bookcase, television with DVD, and lovely rural views.
BEDROOM The cosy bedroom has a double bed, bedside units/drawers, small fitted wardrobe, radio/alarm and views. There is also a double sofa-bed in the sitting room available at £100.00 per week on request only. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are provided.
SHOWER ROOM A small shower room sits adjacent to the bedroom, and incorporates a cubicle with electric shower, wash-hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail, shaver point and light.
OUTSIDE To the front of the cottage is a private and secure area of garden with a picnic table and barbecue. Guests are also welcome to explore the adjacent farmland which offers access to local footpaths and other walks.
PARKING Private parking for one car in front of the property.
OTHER INFORMATION Mostly carpeted throughout with vinyl flooring in the kitchen area and shower room. Hot water and central heating by oil fired boiler. Strictly no smoking permitted, but one, small well behaved dog is permitted. Wireless broadband available.
