A well-presented Edwardian terraced house on three levels, refurbished and extended in recent years to provide a very good standard of holiday accommodation with off-road parking. The property is best suited to family groups or couples looking for a comfortable retreat in a pleasantly quiet, mainly residential area within the town, just five minutes walk from the boat park and five minutes more to find Salcombe's wonderful waterfront, shops and restaurants.

LOCATION A pleasantly quiet, mainly residential area within the town, just five minutes walk from the boat park and five minutes more to find Salcombe's wonderful waterfront, shops and restaurants.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A superb, light and sunny extension to the rear of the cottage with high pitched roof and full length windows. Fully fitted, well equipped, contemporary kitchen with granite worktops, 5-ring gas hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and stylish units. Stereo with ipod dock. Dining table with four chairs and a bench. Comfortable double sofa in one corner. Double French doors out to decking and garden.
UTILITY/SHOWER ROOM Adjacent to the kitchen on the ground floor with washing machine, tumble dryer. Through to shower room with walk-in electric shower, wash-hand basin and w.c.
LOUNGE A large bay window makes this a beautifully light room with an open grate Victorian fireplace and wooden floor. Comfortably furnished with a stylish sofa, one armchair, large pouffe and TV/DVD with Sky Q and Stereo with ipod.
BEDROOMS Four in total. Master bedroom on the first floor with King-size bed, wardrobe, bedside table, cot and sash window with views to the front of the property. Also on this level is a bunk-bedded room. On the top (second) floor there is a twin room to the front and a double room with balcony facing the rear. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied - tenants require tea towels.
BATHROOM On the first floor with panelled bath, hand-held shower, w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.
OUTSIDE Good sized decking area adjacent to the new kitchen with table, parasol and chairs. This extends into a sunny rear garden laid mainly to lawn with extensively planted borders containing a variety of flowers, shrubs and palms. At the foot of the garden lies a further paved terrace.
PARKING Off-road parking for one small or medium car.
OTHER INFORMATION The ground floor has stripped wooden flooring throughout with carpet in all bedrooms. Gas fired central heating and hot water. Strictly no smokers or pets permitted. WiFi is available.

“House perfect for us small size living room but big enough to watch th Tv at night when the kids were asleep. The wow was the huge kitchen diner fully fictional
Kitchen with every appliance you need a kitchen table that sat 4 adults and 4 kids no
Problem at all with a sofa and a tv. Garden tidy full of plants which stops the sun getting in but your not on holidays to sit in a back garden. Parking for 1 car but a car park with weekly ticket available (can use in other car parks in the area)only 5 min walk away would recommend for fordlea to everyone”

“Lovely house and good position. Only downside was only two bathrooms for 8 people but could deal with it. Had a lovely holiday at Fordlea and would recommend it and go back ourselves”

“Place was a little tired. BBQ pretty shabby and so things in the house not working but overall, acceptable”

“Great house. Great location. Nice decor and facilities. Shame there wasn't a loo on the top floor. Also the door to the loft terrace didn't work properly and was very tricky to open and close.”
