Home is a comfortable and well maintained Victorian house, equipped to a very good standard throughout, and within a short, level walk from Salcombe’s stunning waterfront.  The three-storey accommodation sleeps up to eight guests in four good-sized bedrooms, and has a substantial rear terrace with garden furniture and large gas barbecue.  The house is an equally convenient holiday retreat for one/two families or couples looking for a comfortable base just a few minutes from the town.

LOCATION Home is conveniently located towards the end of Island Street, within a few minutes walk of the both the town centre and the long-stay car park.
ENTRANCE A series of sandstone steps lead up from Island Street to the front door, and then into a tiled hall, ideal for boots, coats and jackets
LOUNGE/DINING ROOM On the ground floor is a very comfortable sitting area with large corner sofa, 37” LCD digital TV (with Freesat), DVD, DVDs and CDs available to use.  A large open arch leads through to the dining area furnished with an oak table and eight chairs, CD/radio and gas fired 'wood' burner.  Also at this level is a STUDY with 32" wall mounted LCD TV, oak desk and chair, and wireless printer.
KITCHEN The fully equipped kitchen has a four-ring gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, breakfast bar with three stools, and TV.  A door leads out to the rear terrace and downstairs shower/cloakroom.
BEDROOMS Four in total, all on the first floor.  An en suite double room has a King-size bed, fitted wardrobes, wall mounted TV, and tiled en suite wet room with ceiling rose shower, w.c., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and under floor heating.  The second bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.  There are two further twin rooms, each with full size single beds, wardrobes and drawers.  All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided - guests will need to bring beach and tea towels.
BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite above is a shower/cloakroom (adjacent to the kitchen) - with power shower, w.c., wash-hand basin, shaver point and heated towel rail - and a family bathroom on the first floor with corner bath, separate power shower, w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.
SNUG/DEN On the top floor, built into the attic space is a spacious 'snug' with sofa, TV and Playstation 3.
OUTSIDE Stunning 'Mediterranean' feel garden featuring sago palms, banana palms, tree ferns, grape vines, date palms and other exotic plants. Indian sandstone patio at the front of the property with table and chairs - a gravel and slabbed path leads you through rendered and stone clad walls to a herringbone patio with gas barbecue, large table and chairs, built-in pond/water feature.  
PARKING A weekly pass is provided for one car at the nearby long stay car park (spaces subject to availability during peak season)
OTHER INFORMATION Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking or pets.  Gas fired central heating and hot water.  Carpeted and double glazed throughout.  Music system through high quality ceiling speakers in every room downstairs, individually controllable.
