Maxpoffle is a recently converted Victorian terraced house overlooking Courtenay Park, within just a few minutes walk of Salcombe town centre, and with excellent views across the estuary and towards South Pool Creek. The lower apartment, with reverse level accommodation divided over two floors, is furnished and presented to a very good standard throughout, and offers a convenient and comfortable holiday retreat for families and couples alike.
LOCATION The property is at the lower end of Devon Road, just five minutes (mostly downhill) walk into Salcombe with its array of boutique shops, pubs and restaurants.

ENTRANCE Accessed from Devon Road the apartment opens at ground floor level into a good sized hallway with wooden flooring. CLOAKROOM with w.c. and wash-hand basin
SITTING ROOM The cosy sitting area has a large L-shaped sofa with matching armchair and pouffe, wall-mounted TV, DVD player and feature fireplace.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A light and sunny open plan area has a fully fitted kitchen with modern units, handmade granite worktops, four-ring induction hob, electric double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, central island with dishwasher, and hi-fi with iPod dock (a washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in an under-stairs cupboard on the lower floor). A glass-topped table with six oak and leather chairs sits in front of large bay window with lovely views across the estuary.
BEDROOMS Three in total, all on the lower floor (down two flights of stairs). A second double room also has a King-size bed, bedside units, drawers and TV. The third bedroom has bunk beds and TV. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided. Tenants will require beach and tea towels.
BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a fully tiled family bathroom on the lower floor with freestanding bath, hand-held shower, wash-hand basin, and w.c.
OUTSIDE From the lower hallway a glazed door leads out to a sunny rear terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and gate out to Courtenay Park.
PARKING A parking pass is provided for the long stay car park (approx. 5-10 minutes walk away)
