The team at Coast & Country were very good and very helpful, this is the second time we have stayed at Southcliffe and the cottage is very well equipt in a beautiful location right on the estuary, I wouldn't hesitate to go back again and I would recommend this cottage for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of places to eat in Kingsbridge and they are all dog friendly as well.

Property lived up to all the information and photos provided on the web site - very comfortable, everything you would need in the kitchen and the most wonderful views from the terrace. Comments about the internal staircase and access via external steps down to the property should be carefully noted. Avoid taking large suitcases or bags if you are in your 60's like us!

What a lovely place! Southcliffe is the perfect property to relax and unwind. We found the whole place very comfortable inside and out. Peaceful and private and the views are fabulous. We will return. The Crabshell Inn is worth a visit and is a short walk away but it gets very busy so get there early.

The stairs are very narrow and steep. This needs to be clear as someone with mobility issues will not manage Otherwise excellent property and with everything you could use One other point the information about area provided in property is out of date

A fabulous location. However access to the property is difficult and the stairs are steep which wasn't a problem for us it but this needs to be explained in the house information before booking. Also the water coming in under the ground floor, as the tide goes in and out is weird and takes a bit of getting used to. My daughter couldn't sleep in the downstairs bedroom because of the tide noise. We cooked Christmas dinner in the house and all the crockery, pans, and dishes were there which was great. The washing machine and dishwasher were great. I think the plates need renewing. Overall we had a lovely week here in this quirky property. I loved the double aspect windows overlooking the estuary.

Lovely setting, were disappointed not to have the basics in the kitchen when we arrived,no milk, tea bags, coffee, salt, pepper,I would have thought that they would have provided these ,having arrived had to then go out and stock up,just felt penny pinching, the whole kitchen felt tired, all the crockery was mismatched and a lot of it chipped, felt like the remains of a car boot sale, was a shame as it is a stunning location.were a lot of dog hairs on the blankets and a smell of dogs which is not pleasant if you are not a doggy owner.
