An early 20th Century sea captain's residence extensively refurbished in recent years and with fine rural and sea views towards Bolt Tail. The house has ample parking for two cars to the rear and is situated near the heart of the village, just a few minutes walk from the fine sandy beaches, local pub, shop and cafes. An ideal holiday retreat for large family groups or up to three couples, Tarqua enjoys the benefit of a lovely private garden laid mainly to lawn with wooden benches and a barbecue provided for al fresco entertaining.
LOCATION The house is situated near the heart of Outer Hope village, just a few minutes walk from the fine sandy beaches of Hope Cove, local pub, shop and cafes, and offers easy access to the South West Coast Path providing beautiful walks to Salcombe, Thurlestone and other coastal villages. Golf nearby at Thurlestone and at Bigbury.
VIEWS Fine views from the front of the house across the valley to fields; from the verandah and some of the rooms, there are also sea views towards Bolt Tail.
ENTRANCE The entrance leads into a hallway off which are the principal reception rooms and stairs to the first floor.
SITTING ROOM A cosy sitting room with sofa, armchair, built in woodburner stove, flatscreen digital television and DVD player, hi-fi and window seat in a lovely bay window.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM Large open plan and modern fitted kitchen with four ring ceramic hob, electric oven and grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, small kitchen table and breakfast bar with stools. To the front of the room - and looking out over the garden through a lovely bay window - is the dining area with large oak table with eight chairs, sideboard, digital television and a sofa in the bay window. There is also a large UTILITY ROOM off the kitchen with a washer/dryer and door out to the side of the house. Located off the utility room is a CLOAKROOM with w.c. and wash hand basin.
BEDROOMS Four in total - all on the first floor. Master bedroom has a King-size bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and lovely sea views. En suite bathroom with bath/shower, wash hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail, heated floor, shaver point and light. Second bedroom also has a King-size bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash hand basin. Third bedroom (at side of house) has full-size bunk beds, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Fourth bedroom (at rear of house) has two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows and bed linen provided - tenants require all towels.

PARKING Ample parking for two cars to the rear of the house (accessed via a narrow lane which runs off the main road into Outer Hope to the rear of the property).
