“All our Sykes holiday homes have been super and all have met our expectations.”

Covid has interrupted everyones holidays this year in that booking is necessary for almost everything which as a newcomer to an area is difficult, and waiting outside shops just to go in and browse is a nuisance - however Devon is truly lovely, fair weather of foul. Clementine Cottage has the best kitchen window view ever, and looking out across the sea with a Flower Supermoon was magical. Highly recommended.

The property

Clementine Cottage is a pretty, single storey detached barn set in an area of outstanding natural beauty within 87 acres of rolling farmland.

Extensively refurbished in 2018, it has lovely views out across the valley to the sea at North Sands and beyond; and is just 1 1/2 miles from the beautiful estuary town of Salcombe, with its spectacular coastline and fine sandy beaches.

The village of Malborough, with its two pubs, post office/village stores and garage, is only 1 mile away and Salcombe or Malborough can be now be reached via a new cycle/walk path at the top of the drive. From the front entrance the hallway leads to a superb open plan kitchen/dining living room with double French doors out to the terrace and garden.

There is a well-equipped kitchen area with fitted oak units, five-ring gas range cooker and oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine and washer/dryer and a dining table and four chairs.

The comfortable sitting area is tastefully furnished with two sofas, TV with Sky (Freeview), DVD player, CD hi-fi and an electric fire for cosy evenings! Down the hall, the tastefully furnished master bedroom has a King-size bed, wardrobe and drawers.

There is a small second bedroom with twin 3' beds.

Both bedrooms have White Company Linen.
