This impressive complex also has both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools meaning you can enjoy a leisurely swim, whatever the weather. When you want to venture out from this idyllic haven to experience the delights of South Devon, there is a plethora of fun activities and stunning locations just waiting to be explored. For spectacular beaches, head to Blackpool Sands just three-miles west of Dartmouth, or visit popular Salcombe and enjoy its numerous sandy coves. If you are searching for all-weather family attractions, nearby Woodlands Leisure Park and Pennywell Farm (around a 45 minute drive), both offer fantastic days out for those with young children. The incredible Paignton Zoo is also within easy driving distance, home to an exotic variety of animals including lions, tigers, gorillas, and even crocodiles… an entertaining day out no matter your age! For foodies South Devon is home to some of the finest eateries and food producers in the country.
