The swimming pools and grounds are beautiful and we loved making use of them. Regarding the house, it was very comfortable, but we felt there could be improvements. Problems we had during the stay were sorted out very promptly. There was a lot to clean and it was satisfactory, but not excellent. The kitchen cupboards need a jolly good sort out. About 50 wine glasses and two rolling pins but only eight mugs. Not ONE cupboard to put food in for eight. No decent roasting tins. We didn’t use the house outside space much as there was no sun after 1pm. Some of the seals had gone on the windows and need replacing. One under counter oven wasn’t big enough for eight. Furniture was very comfortable and the main living room was great. The windows in the children’s bedroom were very condensated in the morning and the curtains and bedding did get damp. Showers and bathrooms were good. We were disappointed that there was dog poo under the climbing wall in the adventure playground one morning and our grandchild narrowly avoided stepping in it.
