Inside, you will find an array of charm, with hues of blue and white running throughout the property to add to the seaside theme of the property, each of the rooms has been thoughtfully styled to offer you a stylish and contemporary dwelling to retreat to after fun-filled days of exploring.

Enter through the kitchen and take your bags up the stairs to your resting spots.

Here you will find a king-size bedroom on the first-floor with an accompanying shower room, and, on the second-floor, a double with a lavish bathroom next to it.

Both of the bedrooms offer bright and airy rooms to rest your head, as well as holding the advantage of their own bathrooms, so you won’t have to worry about last minute queues in the morning!

Back down on the ground-floor is your living area; the sitting room provides a spacious spot, perfect for spending your evenings together in front of the television.

The sitting room also benefits from a dining area; take it in turns to be the designated chef and bring your food through to enjoy a delicious meal together as well as all-important quality time.

The kitchen hosts everything you could need to create a crowd-pleasing meal, with contemporary appliances and ample space to get creative, it’s perfect for when you aren’t indulging in one of the delicious local eateries.The property is situated adjacent to the Royal Dart Yacht Club (please see link to RDYC) and provides cottage guests with exclusive temporary membership to the club and access to it’s facilities including; lounge bar, restaurant and terrace.

Having unrivalled views of the river Dart and and Dartmouth it provides the perfect spot to relax, watch the activity on the river, and enjoy the food and refreshments the club has to offer.

The local area is perfect for a day of rambling, pull on your walking boots and head to the National Trust property of Coleton Fishacre House and Gardens, or stop at The Daymark historical landmark just a short journey away offering you spectacular views and coastal paths to explore.

Kingswear also benefits ferry trips to the town of Dartmouth, with its abundance of history and heritage wonders, it’s a great day out to learn about the history of the area as well as being just a short drive away from one of the country’s top beaches; Blackpool Sands, promising a delightful day out for all the party.

The Cottage – Temporary Membership to the Royal Dart Yacht Club
Welcome to the Royal Dart Yacht Club.
We are keen to make your stay enjoyable so please do make the most the Club’s facilities while you
are staying at the cottage. However, we are members only Club and are guided by our Constitution
and Regulations. Outlined below is some information that will help you understand how we use the
Temporary membership of the Club
• Valid for the duration of the holiday let only
• Proof of cottage rental may be requested by the club staff prior to service
• No rights or privileges other than to use the club facilities while staying in the cottage
• Temporary members who refuse to accept or neglects to observe Club Rules and Regulations,
or whose behavior is unacceptable shall be liable to expulsion i.e. unable to use the club
• Temporary members are NOT allowed to invite additional visitors / guests to use the club
Key Regulations for Cottage guests:
Temporary members MUST abide by the regulations as defined in ‘club house facilities’ section, and
specifically but not restricted to:
1) Children between the ages of 14 and under 16 years are permitted into the Club bar room if
accompanied by a responsible adult. Young adults aged 16 and under 18 are permitted to use the
Bar room and premises without being accompanied but may not buy or consume alcohol.
2) Young, well-behaved children under the age of 14 are permitted to enter the Club bar until 19.30
hours if accompanied by a responsible adult.
3) A reasonable standard of dress appropriate to the time of day and to the circumstances is
required on the Club premises at all times. Bare feet, wet suits and foul weather gear are not
permitted within the Club reception rooms at any time. Dress guidelines are posted on the Club
notice board and available on the Website.
4) No power driven vehicle, nor any pedal cycle, may be parked on the Club premises.
5) No employee of the Club shall receive any gratuity.
6) The use of mobile phones is not permitted within the Club House.
7) The River Dart off the Club pontoons is a dangerous tidal river. The wearing of personal floatation
by people using the pontoons is recommended for adults and is mandatory for young people
under 16 years. Swimming, fishing and crabbing from the terrace or pontoons is strictly forbidden.
8) Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is banned in the Club building and marquee.
9) During hours in which the Club is providing food, members and visitors are not permitted to
consume their own food on the Club’s premises i.e. in the bar lounge, marque, and on the terrace.
