The property

25 Lake Street, a stylish two-bedroom cottage in Dartmouth's bustling town centre, is located in this picturesque region of Devon.

25 Lake Street offers couples or a family of four a contemporary base for exploring the South Hams area of South Devon, whilst being idyllically perched on the banks of the River Dart.

You'll be able to wow your guests with your culinary prowess in the well-equipped kitchen, serving the fruits of your labour up at the dining table for four.

After a satisfying meal, curl up on the L-shaped sofa in front of the Smart TV and enjoy a much-loved movie while the woodburning stove crackles in the background.

Keeping your holiday wardrobe clean has never been easier thanks to the washer/dryer located under the stairs.

Climb the staircase up to the first floor, where you'll find a cosy seating area perfect for curling up with a cup of tea and a good book or throw open the bi-folding doors to reveal a sunny terrace and ideal place to sit with your morning coffee.

Wash away the day with a refreshing shower, before catching your rest in one of two sumptuous double beds.

Considered one of Devon's best seafood restaurants, Seahorse is a must-stop for seafood lovers who want to enjoy their meal while taking in the stunning views of the River Dart from their table.

In addition to the 17th-century museum, 16th-century Bayard's Cove and the 14th-century Dartmouth Castle with on-site tearoom where you can pick up a sweet treat afterward, budding historians are well-catered for when staying in Dartmouth.

If you enjoy walking, the 630-mile-long South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep, ensuring you don’t miss any of the prime locations and ending in Dorset.

Consider spending the day at Blackpool Sands, an award-winning beach with activities like rafting and kayaking as well as the nearby Venus Café where you can refuel after your excursions.

Take a ferry ride or rent a boat from the harbour and sail over to Kingswear, where the Dartmouth Steam Railway, the 16th-century Kingswear Castle, and the impressive National Trust site of Coleton Fishacre are all located.

Totnes Castle, Totnes Image Bank, and the South Devon Railway can be found in Totnes, which is a little further away.

Secure your stay at 25 Lake Street for an unforgettable Darmouth adventure.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
