    “Have rented from you several times over the years but didn’t think the cleaning was up to usual standard: Bed hasn't been hoovered under for a long time.”

    Several items of rubbish were under there (which we removed) and thick with dust. The bed valance hasn’t been changed recently either as had several stains on it and thick with dust on back corners. ...

    Several items of rubbish were under there (which we removed) and thick with dust. The bed valance hasn’t been changed recently either as had several stains on it and thick with dust on back corners. There was a white residue over the bottom of one of the sofas where something had previously been spilt and had sprayed the sofa. The plinth along the bottom of the cupboards needed cleaning as had stains on it ( can see them while sitting on sofa). The property is nice but isn’t being maintained very well: toilet seat loose, most door handles need attention, etc. We had a plumbing issue when we arrived which was dealt with swiftly, thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just some minor issues that need looking at.

The property

Just a 10-15 minute walk from historic Dartmouth, The Pottery building is a famous Grade II listed former paper mill, bakery and brewery.

Accessed via a communal area, this luxurious ground floor flat opens into a hallway and leads down a few steps into a spacious, open plan living area.

This light and airy area boasts oak flooring and original stone features, plus large picture windows with views across to Warfleet Creek.

The living area is comfortably furnished with two large leather sofas, whilst the dining area has a contemporary wooden dining table and five leather dining chairs.

The modern, well equipped kitchen area has beautiful granite work surfaces, and there is an additional utility cupboard housing a washing machine and iron.

Offering comfortable accommodation for two couples or a family, the two bedrooms include a luxurious master room with a King-size bed and en suite shower room, plus a second bedroom with a double bed.

All duvets, pillows, bed linen and hand/bath towels are provided.

In addition to the en suite is a luxurious family bathroom.

Adjacent to the property is a small communal seating area, or take a short walk down to picturesque Warfleet where you can enjoy ample benches with waterside views, a small beach and rock pools at low tide.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town.
