The property

Flat 2, 32 Newcomen Road is a well-equipped first floor apartment set in picturesque Dartmouth, with its pretty, narrow streets offering art galleries, tea rooms and individual shops.

Positioned just a stone’s throw from the town which is gaining a reputation for its great choice of places to eat, with well-known chefs in several restaurants and The River Restaurant at the Dart Marina Hotel close by.

Just outside the town is an excellent golf course and the stunning unspoilt beaches and coastal paths of Start Bay, including the Blue Flag award winning Blackpool Sands which is a ten-minute drive away.

One of three individual holiday apartments, this Four Star Gold first floor flat has a lovely and very well equipped open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with enviable views across the River Dart towards Kingswear and the mouth of the river.

The living area has wooden flooring and a feature fireplace.

The galley kitchen is modern and well equipped, whilst the living area has a three-seater and two seater settees.

The two bedrooms, both carpeted, provide comfortable accommodation for a couple or family with young children, including one double bedroom and one bunk room with full-size bunk beds.

The historic town of Dartmouth is within easy walking distance and a parking permit is supplied for the local public car park.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
