    “A loverly cottage which was very clean and well equiped.”

AS an ex RN officer I visit Dartmouth often so I will definitely try and book Anchor Cottage next time I am down. Thanks for letting me. By the way - I watered the plants, inside and outside, before I left - I hope that was ok!

Anchor Cottage is a charming mid-terrace house in the heart of Dartmouth, Devon.

When you wake up, go to the shower room to freshen up before embarking on a day of exploring your surroundings.

Dartmouth has something for everyone, with its sandy beaches, historic castle, and beautiful gardens, and when you need a break from all the sightseeing, be sure to sample the delicious seafood at Rockfish.

Totnes is a historic town in Devon that is easily accessible from the cottage; it is located on the River Dart and is home to a number of notable attractions, including Totnes Castle, Berry Pomeroy Castle for the history buffs in your group, Totnes Rare Breeds Farm for the animal lovers, and Dartington Hall Gardens for a simple stroll through beautiful scenery.

Dartmoor National Park is home to some of the country's most unique and beautiful landscapes.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October.
