“The shower was a little grubby the grout requires cleaning.”

We had a lot of rain during our stay causing the gate to the yard to swell and jam requiring a hefty push to open it. The back passage leading to the property has a lot of verdigris, moss and became muddy and slippery after the rain. On the plus side the facilities in the main room were good and comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. The grout in the shower will be replaced as part of our winter maintenance. The timber garden gate is new and has swelled with the recent rain. This will be adjusted shortly. Your stay co-incided with torrential rain which flooded other parts of the town centre. It also made Undercliff, the pedestrian only historic laneway diving acces to the Studio, rather muddy and we have again asked the Council to clean it more often. In the meantime I have done my best in the area around the entrance gate Property Owner

Presented to a delightful standard, Cobalt Studio is a lovely hideaway for couples wanting to escape the rush of everyday life and see the beauty of Devon’s coastline.

Step directly into the open-plan living space; find a kitchenette to your left, equipped with a 2-ring hob, microwave and fridge, so you can rustle up something light when you’re not dining at a local restaurant.

The vibrant chairs invite you to settle down and unwind in front of the Smart TV, catching up on your favourite shows as you relax into your holiday.

Wash away the day in the shower room before popping your pyjamas on and climbing into the king-size bed, dreaming about the adventures to come.

In the morning, step outside to the enclosed courtyard and sip on your morning coffee as you slowly wake up.

Dartmouth is a superb holiday destination, with so much to explore on your doorstep; visit Dartmouth Castle, dating back to the 14th-century and offering an insight into its fascinating past, or see Bayard’s Cove Fort to view the remains of the Tudor fort, both excellent choices for history buffs.

Get to know your surroundings better by venturing on a walk along the South West Coastal Path, soaking in the panoramic views across the water en route, or test your swing at the 18-hole golf course before refuelling with some traditional Devonshire tea at The Guardhouse Café, nestled on the clifftop.

Further exploration can be found in the neighbouring village of Kingswear, home to the National Trust attraction of Coleton Fishacre House & Gardens, dating back to the 1920s.

Make memories alongside your loved one at Cobalt Studio.

About the location

DARTMOUTH

Totnes 12 miles.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.

Please note that this property can be booked with Cobalt Cottage 1084105 to accommodate up to 8 guests in total.

An annual parking permit, for one car, is provided for the Mayors Avenue public car park in an unallocated space. Please note that this car park closes for the Dartmouth Regatta in August
