The property

This wonderful mid-terrace villa, The Hideaway, rests down a peaceful lane in the centre of Dartmouth, Devon.

This homely residence is an outstanding option for families or couples searching for a seaside escape in Devon due to its convenient location just a short stroll from pubs, restaurants, shops, and the town's famous coastline.

The open-plan living area welcomes you back after a day of touring; sit down on the sofa and switch on the Smart TV as you cosy up for the evening, or head into the kitchen and cook a family-favourite for your group.

Outside, take advantage of the enclosed rear yard on those balmy evenings to dine alfresco at the furniture, or simply relax with a glass of wine or cup of tea and think back on the day's activities.

When it is time to rest, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, located on the second floor, and a twin bedroom on the ground floor, are available.

Before leaving the house in the morning, get ready in the family bathroom, fit with both a bath and a shower over, so you can enjoy a long soak or a quick freshen up.

With the home being in the perfect location to take advantage of everything South Devon has to offer, why not put on your walking shoes and explore the stunning South West Coast Path, which is nearby and offers a wealth of walking options.

Well-known pubs and eateries with many cuisines can be found all across Dartmouth and the town's numerous independent shops are great places to pick up gifts to take home.

Spend a day exploring the 16th-century Bayard's Cove Fort or the 14th-century castle for a flavour of the past.

If you are hosting younger visitors, relax on Blackpool Sands' sandy beach or head to the Woodlands Family Theme Park for a fun-filled day out.

Animal lovers can explore the Paignton Zoo, which is home to exotic animals like the Bornean Orangutan and Cotton-Top Tamarin, by travelling farther out to the seaside town, or you can make your way to the Dartmoor National Park for an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities to enjoy.

The Hideaway is a wonderful setting for a rejuvenating holiday with your loved ones.

About the location

DARTMOUTH

Totnes 12 miles.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.

NOTE - No parking at the property - parking permit supplied for an unallocated space in the town centre car park (car park is approximately 10-15 minute walk from the apartment). Please note that the Mayors Avenue car park is closed for the Regatta Week
