The apartment is set over the second and third floor and makes a great base for a family adventure to Devon’s magnificent south coast.

A mere 100 yeards from the nearest pub and restaurant!

After a day of exploring, look forward to unwinding within the open-plan living space, boasting a light and airy feel thanks to the large bay window, along with two plush sofas and a Smart TV for entertaining.

Allow the chef of the group to get acquainted in the kitchen, appointed with an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, while everyone else can help prepare the dining table with crockery and cutlery.

As the night rolls in, whisk yourself off to the bedrooms, offering a double with en-suite shower and a bunk room on the second-floor, while the third floor provides a king-size and refreshing bathroom – there’s even a small seating area where you can catch a glimpse of the river and bustling harbour!

Each of the bedrooms are neutrally decorated and come with Smart TVs so you can continue your favourite series to bed.

When you’re ready to explore, Dartmouth is a home to a number of magnificent landmarks, including Dartmouth Harbour, Dartmouth Museum, Bayard’s Cove Fort and at the mouth of the river, the wonderful Dartmouth Castle.

Leave your car behind and venture on foot, popping in to explore the range of independent shops and retailers before refuelling with a hearty meal in a local pub.

Avid walkers can spend their time meandering along the South West Coastal Path, taking in the stunning views of Dartmouth and then journeying onto Brownstone Battery and the National Trust's Coleton Fishacre House and Gardens.

There are a small number of coves nearby, including Sugary Cove which rests just a mile away, while the award-winning Blackpool Sands beach is not to be missed.

The Penthouse is a luxurious break in a wonderful part of Devon.

About the location

DARTMOUTH

Totnes 12 miles.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.

NOTE - No parking at the property - parking permit supplied (car park is approximately 5-10 minute walk from the apartment). Please note that the Mayors Avenue car park is closed for the Regatta Week in August.
