    “What lovely location!”

I took my parents who are in their 80s to stay a few days at Creekside. We found the property very comfortable, especially as it is on one level with only a few steps in at the front door. They found the over bath showers were a little less accessible but that was an error in my choice. The kitchen had enough equipment to genuinely selfcater including sharp knives (a bonus). However there were a disappointing number of chipped and cracked cups and bowls. The large windows and doors overlooking the creek help to made the most of the location which was fascinating and beautiful. We were able to watch a variety waterbirds and fish. We didn't look into the laundry room so can't comment on that. We decided not to bring our dog in the end but the garden looked secure and clean. The drainage in the bathrooms makes a lot of glugging and gurgling, I wonder if the drains might need rodding in the near future?

About the location

FROGMORE

Kingsbridge 4.1 miles; Salcombe 9.1 miles

The picturesque village of Frogmore, located at the head of Frogmore Creek, is surrounded by stunning countryside and is just three miles from the pretty market town of Kingsbridge and a 10-minute drive from Slapton Sands, which makes it a fantastic holiday destination for those looking for a tranquil spot that’s in easy reach of a range of attractions. Walking from Frogmore to West Charleton along the water’s edge is a great way to see the creek before turning inland and heading north through West Charleton. This pretty village is well-known for its excellent bakery, traditional pub, beautiful creek and perhaps most of all, it’s family-focused annual regatta in August.
