    “Excellent location and well equipped apartment.”

    Just a slight concern that the floors were slightly dirty (noticed on wearing white socks). It was clear the wooden floors had not been mopped recently. This didn't detract as everywhere else was very clean and we had a great stay in a fantastic location. Thanks for arranging the fantastic April weather !!

The property

A first floor, single storey apartment set in a waterside position and with a glimpse of the slipway, beach, sea and across to Bolt Tail.

The apartment is very well presented throughout. A small window looking out from the sitting room provides a glimpse of the slipway, beach, sea and across to Bolt Tail.

Good-sized entrance lobby with room for coats, shoes, beach equipment etc.

A cleverly designed 'Z' shaped room entered via a wide, arched doorway with stylish wooden doors.

Fully fitted modern kitchen with ceramic hob, electric double oven, fridge (with small freezer compartment), washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

The dining area comprises of an ash table with two long benches, comfortably seating 4, whilst the sitting room is furnished with two sofas, TV, DVD player and mini CD hi-fi.

Master bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobes and en suite shower room, with electric shower, wash-hand basin, w.c and heated towel rail.

Twin room with 3' single beds and wardrobe.

All duvets, pillows and bed linen provided - tenants require towels and tea-towels.

Fully tiled with bath (hand-held shower attachment), electric shower (over), wash-hand basin, and w.c.

Unloading only is permitted in a bay to the rear of the property.

Parking is available in the nearby village car park at an additional cost (approximately 50 yards away). The apartment is situated just yards from the beach, and adjacent to the award winning craft beer bar, The Cove.

You will find some spectacular cliff walks along the famous South West Coast Path for you, your partner and your dog to enjoy.

Alternatively, take the short drive to the picturesque town of Kingsbridge to visit one of it’s many historic buildings, or venture to the popular resort town of Salcombe and explore further hidden gems along the west side of the estuary.

The picturesque and unspoiled village of Hope Cove lies in the sheltered curve of Bigbury Bay on Devon’s south coast. A choice destination for families, the two beaches offering soft sand and rock pools for sandcastle building and fishing for small crabs. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards Bigbury-on-sea in one direction and the coastal resort of Salcombe in the other.
