    Clean, well appointed apartment. Lovely double aspect sitting room with sunshine pretty much all day We had a maintenance problem and after several emails & a telephone call it was eventually fixed, Jenny in the office was very helpful and once I'd spoken with her it got sorted very quickly and efficiently by Andy. A couple of points: - No instructions for the TV, the heating or the microwave. I had to phone re the TV and heating to be told that there were instructions but as this was the end of the season (early September) they tended to get thrown away (?) I feel it is the managing company that should ensure these are all there to prevent me having to make a call and for them not to have to deal with such minor problems. - The WiFi is very slow and only works in the room where the hub is so doesn't reach out to the rest of the apartment. There appeared to be a booster in the hall but again no instructions regarding it's use. The welcome file had the wrong WiFi code in it - not helpful! - The ensuite shower was looking a bit tired with black bits of grouting and rusting shower caddy. - The flower boxes on the patio were full of dead plants. Plus point the beds were SO comfortable! Despite the 'niggles' we would definitely go back but as it's up for sale maybe there won't be the opportunity.

There are tennis courts and a cafe in the park.

If you are feeling active, the estuary offers a selection of watersports opportunities including paddle boarding, coasteering and canoeing.

Further afield attractions include exploring miles of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you will be delighted to find a magnitude of sandy beaches, cliffs walks and pretty villages.

The busy little town of Kingsbridge lies at the head of a marine estuary in the attractive South Hams area of South Devon. Kingsbridge is home to a range of lovely independent shops and coffee shops, as well as a local cinema and an award-winning pub. During the summer season there are river excursions to Salcombe to see the abundant wildlife in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), which also forms part of the South Devon Heritage Coast. Visitors can take a walk along the Kingsbridge Quay, wander through the narrow alleys off Fore Street or visit the Shambles, an Elizabethan market arcade. Around the South Hams area there are picturesque ports, such as Dartmouth and Salcombe, together with sandy beaches at Blackpool Sands near Stoke Fleming and the two sandy beaches at Thurlestone. There are a host of small attractive villages in South Hams offering interesting pubs, local farm produce shops and pretty rows of cottages, plus further afield the waterfront city of Plymouth is a vibrant centre housing the National Marine Aquarium, historic Barbican Quay and plenty of night life, including theatres, restaurants and bars. Kingsbridge can be easily reached by train to Totnes and then a local bus service which will take you to Kingsbridge town centre.
