“Had a brilliant stay location perfect walking from the door, easy reach to the coast, what more could you want.”

Lodge was in such a lovely position lovely eating outside if weather is nice listening to the birds, only thing I would say is it would have been nice to have had small table & chairs inside when the weather is not so nice. Susan was a lovely lady very kind would love to go back.

On arrival, you're greeted by a lovely front garden with a bench, the perfect place to have your morning coffee while making plans for the day with your loved one.

Look forward to evening’s spent relaxing on the spacious corner sofa in front of your favourite show on the TV.

In the morning, prepare for the day with a refreshing shower before indulging in a hearty breakfast and heading out to explore.

There is open barn storage in the Tin Barn for guests to store wetsuits, paddle boards and bikes.

The pleasant 16th-century Dolphin Inn, featuring a great food and local ales, is just moments away from your holiday home, perfect for when you fancy a break from the cooking.

Challaborough is just a short drive away and offers a wide range of amenities, including a convenience store, romantic date nights at The WaterFront Bar & Restaurant, fresh fish and chips from Fryer Tucks, and the renowned South West Coast Path, where you can expect to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the region.

For a day at the beach, head to Bigbury-on-Sea, where you can relax by the sea, paddle the coastlines, or try your hand at a variety of watersports, such as surfing or kayaking.

Visit the Salcombe Maritime Museum, explore the ruins of Salcombe Castle, or wander through Overbeck's Garden, the National Trust site in Salcombe, on your next stop.
