    Immaculate accommodation with a picture window over the Devon countryside which made it as much fun to be at home as to visit the fantastic sites around. The hosts are welcoming but not intrusive and all in all this must be one of the best holiday homes we have ever booked.

The property

Hope Cottage is a converted barn located in the heart of the countryside with stunning views from the large gable-end window in the living area.

The cottage is close to the villages of Loddiswell and Aveton Gifford and 4-5 miles or so from beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone, Bantham and Bigbury.

Kingsbridge and Salcombe are each within a short drive of 10-20 minutes. The reverse level accommodation is well-equipped and comfortably furnished.

A delightful open-plan kitchen/dining and sitting room has a modern kitchen with a range of fitted units and appliances.

This flows through to the dining area where a wooden table and chairs provides comfortable seating for six guests.

The sitting room has two double sofas, built in seating area/day bed and occasional furniture.

Laundry facilities are available in The Pump House utility room.

The master double bedroom has a King-size bed, pine furniture and offers an en suite with bath, shower (over) wash-hand basin and w.c.

The second bedroom, also on the ground floor, is twin room that can be converted to a King-size on request.

A family shower room is also provided with shower cubicle, wash-hand basin and w.c.

French doors from the hallway lead out to a private terrace with garden furniture.

Guests are also most welcome to enjoy the gardens and six acres of private grounds.

Parking for two cars and Wireless Broadband available in some areas of the barn.
