    “7 Manor House is a fantastic loft conversion done to a very high standard.”

    The whole village complex is of a very high quality and is run by friendly knowledge staff. We have immediately booked again for next year. My only criticism is parking was an issue, sometimes we got back after our evening out and couldn't park our car. This issue was solved my the on site staff immediately. There is building work going on and there were no outside facilities, we were made aware of this by the staff and it didn't affect our holiday. ...

The property

7 The Manor House is an outstanding second-floor apartment resting on the outskirts of the bustling town of Dartmouth.

This splendid retreat is perfect for a couple or a group of families and friends seeking to explore the rolling countryside setting of South Hams area of South Devon, as well as its glorious coastline.

Here, you will find two elegantly-styled bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double with en-suite shower room and an additional king-size bedroom which is serviced by a well-appointed family bathroom.

Spend your wind down time within the open-plan living room, where you will find carefully selected furnishings and everything you could possibly need to enjoy a week-long break.

The kitchen comes complete with all the quality appliances you will need to rustle up a delicious treat for you and your loved ones, as well as a dining space to plan the days ahead as you tuck into your evening meal.

Joining this space is the plush L-shape sofa, which invited you to tune into the TV and while away a couple of hours before you retire to bed.

To the outside of the property is a communal garden, where you and your loved ones can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining.

If you can tear yourself away from this superb retreat, head to Dartmouth where you will be delighted to find a selection of shops, restaurants and art galleries awaiting you.

To keep you busy whilst here, hop onto the Dartmouth Steam Railway to immerse yourself with the pretty countryside views, or enjoy a boat trip across Kingswear and on to Brixham.

Alternatively, venture to the endearing Dartmoor National Park or spend some time at the glorious coastline.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. Plans are being produced to redevelop the previous swimming pool area during 2021, replacing it with an outdoor recreation area available for all year round use. We will provide further details when available.

The current children’s play area will also be updated to include new climbing frame, slide and swings, and will be available from the main summer holiday period (subject to any Covid-19 constraints).

The ongoing construction of eight 3-bedroom properties on site is ongoing. Further redevelopment is planned to commence during the autumn/winter. During the periods of property development Hillfield Village will continue to operate with as little disruption as possible, with continued access to the tennis court & play area (from the summer).
