“This was a characterful, spacious, clean and comfortable house with a large garden.”

It contained an interesting assortment of books. We were helpfully provided with a high chair as requested. There are some low doorways for taller people to duck through. Overall I would recommend this property although a few improvements could be made. ...

It contained an interesting assortment of books. We were helpfully provided with a high chair as requested. There are some low doorways for taller people to duck through. Overall I would recommend this property although a few improvements could be made. The house is down a mile long single track Devon lane with passing places. The description mentions that the main parking area is past the house. This is not accurate as this area has been fenced off with wire and stumps and was not accessible. This meant parking on the drive which we found was only possible by opening the gate outwards and reversing in. It was very difficult. We would highly recommend that the owner make the parking area accessible or widen the gate to the drive. For a house for eight we would expect a larger refrigerator so as to accommodate a weeks worth of food. The barbecue on top of the stand was unstable so we did not use it and would recommend replacing it. It would be helpful to have enough outdoor seating for eight. It would be helpful to provide a travel cot. We would also have liked a welcome sheet which could have a brief explanation of the refuse collection, history of the house etc.

We are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Brook Farm. We would like to thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on the property. Your feedback has been passed on to the owner who will be looking to address the various issues mentioned. We look forward to welcoming you back to the area very soon. Owner relations
