    “Having stayed in this property for over 10 years it was sad to arrive this year to a dirty flat.”

    Basic cleaning of the kitchen had not been done and the dirt build up under sofas and behind drawers was pretty disgusting. The sofa cover was so bad you didn’t really want to sit on it. I did speak to someone in a call centre who sent a cleaner around but waiting for her to arrive and clean was not my ideal start to the holidays. ...

I did speak to someone in a call centre who sent a cleaner around but waiting for her to arrive and clean was not my ideal start to the holidays. Also sad you have decided to ditch the rebooking system, sadly smacks of money grabbing rather than the quality company that Coast and Country has always been. Perhaps you have misjudged the Salcombe market, my loyalty clearly means nothing to you so perhaps time to change to one of the other local companies who know the properties and respect my loyalty.

In the heart of Salcombe, with wonderful views of Salcombe estuary towards South Pool Creek, 1 The Salcombe is set in a highly sought-after location.

With use of a seasonal heated swimming pool (available from May half term to October), lovely communal gardens and an allocated parking space and mooring, this wonderful apartment has great facilities in the centre of Salcombe.

This ground floor, poolside, garden flat has an open plan kitchen and lounge area, with a door that leads out to the garden and outside pool.

The charming seaside kitchen includes a range of appliances and table with chairs to seat four.

The master bedroom overlooks the garden, pool and estuary, and features a King-size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Twin bedroom includes two single beds, wardrobe, dressing table, shelves, ceiling fan and an en suite bathroom.

Tiled bathroom includes bath with shower over and w.c.

A superb apartment for a young family to easily access Salcombe’s boutique shops and restaurants.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Swimming pool is available from late May to October half term each year (subject to change). Please call the office to confirm dates.Please note that there are no lifeguards in attendance so children should be supervised at all times.
